Alhamdulillah — by the grace of Allah and the generosity of our community, Sabeel owns its land outright, with no mortgage.
The 8.24-acre site at 1024 St. Margarets Bay Road, Beechville will hold the masjid, the school, a gymnasium, surface and underground parking, a playground and generous green space — with the building oriented toward the Qibla.

Land secured
The 8.24-acre Beechville site is fully paid off — a permanent, debt-free foundation for generations.
Permit approved
Halifax Regional Municipality has officially approved the Development Permit for the Sabeel Islamic Community Centre.
Next: construction
With the permit in hand, the way is clear to build — and every contribution brings the first shovel closer.

Masjid, gym & school
The main prayer hall, a gymnasium with change rooms, cafeteria and kitchen, the first 14 classrooms, labs, the Imam’s office and administration.
Sisters’ prayer hall & classrooms
The sisters’ prayer hall, the remaining 14 classrooms, additional labs, social rooms, a teachers’ lounge and offices overlooking the spaces below.
