THE LAND
100% Ours — Fully Paid, Debt-Free
Alhamdulillah — by the grace of Allah and the generosity of our community, Sabeel owns its land outright. The 8.24-acre site at 1024 St. Margarets Bay Road, Beechville is fully paid off with no mortgage, giving us a permanent, secure foundation to build upon for generations to come.
Development Permit Approved
We are delighted to announce that the Development Permit for the Sabeel Islamic Community Centre has been officially approved by the Halifax Regional Municipality — a major milestone clearing the way for construction.

Site Plan — 8.24 Acres
The full 8.24-acre parcel includes the masjid, the school, a gymnasium, surface and underground parking (353 total stalls), a playground, and generous green space — with the building oriented toward the Qibla.
Lower Floor — Parking & Community Space
142 underground parking stalls (73 for the community, 69 for the school), dedicated community program spaces, masjid program space, ablution areas, bicycle storage, and mechanical/electrical rooms.
Second Floor — Masjid, Gym & School
The main male prayer hall, gymnasium with workout rooms and change rooms, cafeteria and kitchen, the first 14 classrooms, laboratories, the Imam's office, social rooms, and administrative offices.
Upper Floor — Female Prayer Hall & Classrooms
The female prayer hall, the remaining 14 classrooms (28 total across both floors), additional laboratories, social rooms, a teacher lounge, and administrative offices overlooking the central spaces below.
